Saif Ali Khan Resumes Shoots For Bhoot Police, Feels, ‘Almost Like Working At A Hospital’
Actor Saif Ali Khan says that with COVID-19 pandemic imposed restrictions, he feels working on the sets is like working at hospitals
Nawab of Pataudi Saif Ali Khan after accompanying his wife Kareena Kapoor Khan to Delhi during her film shoot, has himself resumed work now. Almost six months since the outbreak of COVID-19 got everyone house arrested, the actor has shared being on the sets especially for artists has been a huge risk. Giving a valid reasoning behind it, the actor mentioned as actors can’t wear masks and are surrounded by people, film sets have become a dangerous environment.
He further mentioned that many people have taken huge efforts while they worked with him, meanwhile he is also mentioned though people are doing their best it is still dangerous. Hence the actor feels thus actors working in such tragic times deserve credit. In conversation with Quint, he said, “You know, actors can't wear masks and the film set is a very dangerous environment at this time. But most people I have worked with have made really big efforts. People are trying their best, but it's still dangerous. These are tricky times and I feel actors definitely deserve credit for this.”
Also further elaborating about lockdown which got the actors to sit back at home, followed by the government asking them to venture out and get back to work to support the economy the actors have now come on the frontline. Also actors are currently said to be in a high risk professions, and working on the sets feels like working in the hospital.
He said, “During the lockdown we quietly sat at home for six months, wasted our lives and lost our time. But now when the government is saying go out and work to support the economy, we are in the frontline again. The actor is in Dalhousie shooting for his upcoming horror-comedy flick Bhoot Police which co-stars Arjun Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez and Yami Gautam.
